AT&T 5g+ In Raleigh NC

Is this an AT&T tower in Raleigh NC? I found it on NC State’s Campus. Please help.

How do you suggest I go about finding 5g tower in Raleigh? I just spoke to the office of the President and she said she’s going to try to find out from her network team. She also said see was able to see at least 2 lte small cells on NC States campus and a third that she says was portable but that she couldn’t give out its info because it’s proprietary information. I don’t know if it’s on this campus and or in other parts of downtown Raleigh. They’re much more transparent with Charlotte because I was told it was at two locations: Spectrum Stadium and one other place. They may be big places but at least it’s an ‘exact’ location of where to look. Ugh! This is so frustrating!! She’s going to give me a call back some time soon she says. I wish I lived in Charlotte lol then I’ll have Verizon and AT&T as options... sorry for my rant. If I can’t find out anything I’ll just keep the plan and return the phone and use the line on an old phone until things improve here hopefully by the end of the year when the best phones come out.

Honolulu Coverage

I am visiting Honolulu in 3 weeks. I know the airport has 5G+ how is the rest of the island? Are speeds adequate? Is there any DOD 3.45Ghz being/been deployed yet. TIA for your replies! Aloha

Just Google your original question and coverage will be confirmed. Should be no trouble. No different using your phone in any other state. It's not like you will be picking up international roaming from a foreign network. Due to potential terrain or building issues, there may be some areas where coverage can be spotty at times and nobody can guarantee coverage ever.

What is the point of this forum if I can’t ask a question like this ‘Mr. Super Moderator’?

No 3.45 in Hawaii. I don't think any of the 3.45/3.7 licenses are available for use in Hawaii due to the Navy's heavy radar use.

Sorry if you were offended, but some things can be determined on your own with a simple internet search. You could have done so yourself just as easily.

Nobody can predict with any certainty when it comes to actual coverage. You're welcome. Have a good day.

BTW: We don't have to agree, but I am entitled to my opinion just like any other member of this forum.

AT&T is kinda crappy on Oahu. We go every two years. Obviously I’m not a local but I’m always very frustrated on that island. Maui isn’t great either (it’s worse lol). Kauai & Hawaii are solid.

5G+ without mmWave

So the other day I noticed 5G+ on my phone but we don't have mmWave here in Birmingham?! Why would my phone show that symbol? I did do a speed test and the speed was much faster, fastest Ive ever gotten over 300+! SmartSelect_20220608-184917_Speedtest.jpg

Ah ok, sorry I haven't been on here in a while. I'll take a look. Thanks. I thought Birmingham wasn't gonna get C Band for a while so I wasn't sure.

At&t is launching n77 @ 40 mhz fast and getting very good range.

I know it's easy to miss comments when you don't check everyday. Very exciting to see n77 and there is a HUGE push on rolling it out now. It will get better when they deploy the other 40 MHz of DoD.

Something I learned on reddit is the s22 line and iPhone 13 series has hpue enabled for n77.

Sure enough I saw the tx power hit 28dbm while connected to n77!

Do you have any links to further reading about HPUE on n77?
